I keep getting ‘System Error O.I.S.’ on my panasonic lumix?
I just took the camera out of the box and after fully charging the battery, I began to check out my new panasonic lumix DMC-FS7. After taking 2-3 pics, the camera stopped working and an error message popped up saying ‘system error O.I.S.’ So I turned the camera off, then back on again, but it keeps doing this… Any suggestions (besides return the camera)
Try turning off the OIS (optical image stabilization) – it’ll either be in the menus, or in some cases a physical switch. If it’s a switch, it may just be in between settings and causing an issue. If it’s a menu setting – return it you got a defective camera.
