Canon Eos 1ds Price
SLR camera asks to spend more money on a camera or lens?

I wan't to buy a Canon EOS SLR. The most expensive is the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III than 11 billion Australian dollars. This is wayyyy out of my price range as I am a beginner. I was looking at the Canon EOS 550D, 1400 Australian dollars. For me, this is expensive, since I'm an average person, but I'm willing to pay this. I've seen some amazing videos people have created from your Canon EOS SLR. The question principal why I am asking here is, if I were to buy the 550D, along with some great goals, I will be able to create stunning movies too? Or best savings for a while and then buying a $ 10,000 camera without any good? I lenses Thanks!

Time and time and again, the answer will be all lenses. DSLR around. degraded sensors. The new technology comes out. Things get old and obsolete. There will always be one that anewer is a bit better. HOWEVER … lens will always with you. As you improve your body, you take your glasses with you to the next body. Some lenses of the decade of 1930 (ie, leica) still used as its main objective. And sometimes preferable to the newer lens. Len prices also sometimes goes up. The lenses are not obsolete. lenses are an investment body grow old and fall apart. As a cost savings, buy a 500d. The 550D recently replaced the 500d, so many places still might be trying liquadate this population. There are not many differences between the two. In regard to taking great pictures. Great pictures are taken by great photographers do not, their cameras. Exit learn what you can. Improvement. Find your style the image you want to share. That'll make great photos.
