Elph Canon Powershot – A Versatile Family of Durable Digital Camera
I have many digital cameras now and many others have owned in the past so I have many experiences with various brands and models and offers plenty of advice based on my own experiences. Let me tell you a few of my favorite courses in case you're in the market for a digital camera, but have no idea where to start looking.
I admit I am a Canon girl. I had several other brands of digital cameras, but I was happier with my guns. I own a Canon Digital Rebel SLR and several lenses, a Canon Powershot Elph (SD 110), and a Powershot (SD850 IS) Elph, and two from Panasonic and Sony.
A year ago, I bought the Powershot (SD850 IS) Elph. It was love at first photo. Not only does this compact digital camera and super easy to use, but the pictures are superb. I also like the ability to take video, my Canon Rebel has not. The SD850 IS is light but not fragile. It also fits in my small purses and pockets of my jeans, which is nice. And improvements compared to my old (but still good) Canon Elph 110 are impressive.
One of my favorite features and the ability to make pictures in black and white or sepia, or is the macro close-up function. I took hundreds of photos of bees on flowers, dewdrops, ants, and shells. Several of them were blown up and presented as art. This has little to do with my skills and much to do with the impressive quality of the Elph brings. To see the veins in a leaf or pollen on the legs of a bee is amazing. I am constantly seeing new things that I never noticed with my naked eye. You really must see it to believe it.
Another thing to mention about the Elph is that it is much more durable than I expected. I carry mine on a neck strap, and sometimes he bangs things when I lean or lean to get something. Even after a year of my violence, the thing is like new. It has also been abandoned once rained twice. I use my Elph to shopping (Take pictures of items and prices so I'll remember the details later), take pictures of cards online instead of printing them to take pictures of products I should look at the shop, and even a flashlight, a night walking my dog.
I love coming up with new ways use. There is also a valuable tool for insurance purposes. Take pictures of valuables, burn them onto a disk, and paste with important documents in case of emergency. If there is a fire, you will have a proof of ownership. In addition, if you receive a package that is damaged, take Canon Elph and take your pictures before opening the package. It is also great if you're in a collision.
My mother, my sister, and his uncle have all bought the same model, after trying mine, and they love it, too. I have personally taken over 12,000 photos with mine, and is still going strong. (Yes, I take pictures every day, and sometimes have 600 or more to a party or event.) And you can believe it, next time I buy another digital camera that is also a Canon.
I highly recommend anyone in the market for a compact digital camera Elph give a shot. It is fabulous, and really is not too expensive. As I said, you name a brand of camera, I probably used. Canon digital cameras are top quality and Elph is amazing. And fun! Get your hands on one and see for yourself.
