which camera to choose?
Canon Powershot Pro Series S5 IS ,Fujifilm Finepix S1000fd Or a Kodak Z1012?
Price range is almost the same.
And It is worthy to buy a digital camera that cost more than $500 dollars, when you can enhance your picture with an advance photo editing software ?
is there any diference in a picture taken with a 5MP camera and a picture taken with a 8 or more MP?
( I never used digiytal zoom ) i preffer to get closer to the object ) .I am expecting to spent about $200 to $350 dollars.
actually have a Kodak CX7530 with 5 MP, and i want to up-grade. i am a serious amateur but not yet a professional photografer. Thank you for your help.
There are basically more than one question, i would like to get an answer for all of them.
I would get the Canon S5 IS. These cameras use a tiny CCD sensor and it does not perform well in high ISO. S5 IS has the hot shoe and you can use an external flash for indoor photography.
If you want to spend $500 or more, you may want to look at the entry DSLRs such as Nikon D40 or Canon XT/XTi.
For a 5 megapixels image, you can print a 8″x10″. If you need to print 11″x14″ or larger, you may get the 8 megapixels cameras.
